Become a Master Lover
I am currently trying to become a master lover and together we can learn and achieve this goal. Of course in order to be skilled in something we have to practice. We have to do it over and over again. The first time you do it, it may seem awkward, but the more we do it the better we become master lovers.
Now, you may think that you are already a great lover, but do you know you can become even greater? And do you know God wants us to not be just great lovers, but to become master lovers toward one another?
Christmas time is the perfect time to practice being a master lover toward others. Haven’t you noticed how nicer and happier people are at Christmas time? Everyone is of good cheer and helping total strangers and even being kind to those they despise. So, why not let Christmas time be the time you start your journey on becoming a master lover. Anyone can love someone who loves them. Shoot! That is easy to do. But, to become a master lover you have to be able to love those you feel are unlovable. The unlovable would be those that don’t love you, those that may irritate you to the core and even those people who gossip about you and may have even stabbed you in the back. It’s about loving those who are different, demanding and difficult. (Biting knuckles) even those who may have hurt you in the past. You may consider adding yourself to the unlovable list; that is if you don’t love yourself as you should.
Trust me, I realize this will seem like an impossible task for some of us, and that’s ok. However, if we keep reminding ourselves that God loves us and that we have His love within us, we will find it easier to love others. It will just take a whole lot of practice and we should be able to achieve our goal of becoming a master lover.
If you are able to truly love others and to show your love through your actions, just think of how much influence you would have. You would have a greater influence than you could ever imagine. Everyone would wonder what you have done to transform yourself in such a way. You would have an aura about you that would glow bright as the clearest diamond.
The reality is, we all need and want love, so what have any of us got to lose in loving each other and ourselves better? I say, we have nothing to lose and a whole lot to gain. Let’s try becoming the masters of love the way God meant for us to be toward each other from the get-go.
Become lovers not fighters. My hope for you and myself, is that we forgive those who has trespassed against us and are able to move past the awkwardness of showing others love and sooner than later we become greatly skilled Master Lovers.
