Get Full of Yourself

comfortable with othersBeing full of yourself doesn’t mean that you should act like you know everything or that you can do everything. Being full of yourself means, that you are full of yourself within yourself in a positive and loving way. Sometimes when you feel inadequate or you think that who you are is not good enough, you will go overboard doing more and giving more in order to fit in or feel fulfilled. Yet, no matter how hard you try to outdo yourself in order to make others think highly of you, deep down you know it will never work.

When you are full of yourself, you have the confidence within yourself to walk into any situation and know that you have what it takes to make a valuable contribution to whatever the experience may be. You see, when you are full of yourself it gives you the advantage of knowing that you have nothing to prove. You also know there is nothing that anyone else has or can do that you cannot have or do.

When you are full of yourself you are not afraid to make mistakes, nor are you shy about telling the truth if necessary. You know how to make others aware of your boundaries and you respect and honor the boundaries of others. However, when you are not full of yourself, you have no boundaries. You step over other people and you also allow them to step on you.

You may have tried to ignore or push back those feelings of inadequacy which motivate you to do more and give more than what is required of you in any situation. Yet, whenever you allow those feelings to surface, take a moment to gather yourself and begin with feeling the fullness of God’s love for you. Begin by not only trusting, but believing in the fact that just as you are, you are more than enough. Alright, now go forth into the world and get full of yourself!
