Encourage Yourself!

encourage selfSo many times we wait for someone else to give us encouragement or to show us some support. Then when we don’t get the encouraging word or the help we need, we get upset with those individuals. Just like you need not depend on anyone else to bring you happiness, you also should not depend on anyone for encouragement. You must learn to encourage yourself. Become your very own cheerleader!

Let today to be the day you begin encouraging yourself. Don’t go around ignoring any progress you’ve made regardless of how small your progress may seem. Whatever you are doing to improve upon your life that seems to be working for you, then keep doing what you’ve been doing to get there. I am sure you know that you must remain focused on your vision, your goals and your dreams because they are very important to you. You should never deny yourself the joy of your dreams.

You will not doubt yourself or your ability to do what it is you are doing to reach your goals. Don’t ever beat yourself up because of something that happened in your life that you feel may have been a waste of time or some mistake you may have made. You have to know that it was necessary for you to walk those paths to learn the various life lessons that helped you get to where you are right now.

You are doing just fine! So, remind yourself that no matter what it may look like to you (don’t worry about what others think), you are doing the best that you can and you are getting better each day. Keep on telling yourself that you can and that you will. Remind yourself that you are going to start making better choices too. You will be the one deciding who you are and what you wish to express and to experience. Just keep up the good work and remember to keep putting one foot in front of the other. All you need to is to take one step at a time and you will get to where it is you are trying to go. Keep up the good work and continue to tell yourself these things and while doing so you would have officially become your very own encourager.
