Time to Purge
Whenever we hear the word detox most of us think about the clearing of our bodies of the toxins that have built up, especially after all the holiday binging we indulged in. In the New Year we start making these promises to get our workout routines back on track, etc. Well, that is all good, but as we all know the holidays can be a stressful time for most people and now is the time for your mental detox. Not just for the year, but whenever you feel the need to do so.
One of the best types of detox you should start doing is clearing your mind and your thoughts from negativity, which can at times seems overwhelming. Anything that makes you feel lesser should be purged from your daily life. We can’t help what other people do, but we sure can control certain negativity, such as negative thoughts or toxic relationships. At times even magazines and websites can make us feel a certain way: if it’s negative, get rid of it by purging it out of your life and your mind.
