Commands are a Drag

You need to do this…you need to do that…why don’t you do it this way? Why don’t you do it that way? Sometimes we have a habit of throwing out commands to those we love. Yet, we don’t expect ourselves to fall in line at a command and we can’t expect others to either. What we can do is encourage, motivate and allow opportunities for the spirit to flourish. What we need to do is show our children the world is full of possibilities and give them the chance to become aware and excited about their own talents and interest. We need to give our loved ones time, space and emotional support so they can get in touch with their passions. Excitement is contagious; commands are a drag.
