Be More Confident in 2016
Why is it when our friends or family members tell us they are planning to do a certain thing, we tell them they won’t be able to do it? Is it because we tell ourselves there are things we can’t do? Or do we feel threatened by their ambitions when we have stifled and stomped on our own?
Being self-confident has a sort of negative connotation, which is why so many people are scared to aim to be self-confident.
But, instead of fearing what others may think about us we have to be willing to ‘rock’ the truest forms of ourselves on a daily basis. There should never be a point in your day that you are made to feel uncomfortable for being genuine and honest about whom you are as a person. Those you treat with a just and righteous heart – while being yourself – will love you for doing so. While the people who aren’t really for you will only desire for you to be someone you aren’t for their own fulfillment.
There are going to be people around you who don’t quite get the choices you make, and who truly never desired to get them. These are the types of people to avoid giving any power in your life over your decisions. Why, because, if it were left to them, you would only ever be what they want you to be.
Be yourself, and make use of the belief you have in yourself. Never make apologies for who you are, and while you are being your true self and being confident within yourself, why not make sure to use what you have to change the world for good.
