Mark Your Calendar
Most of us feel finding some form of balance in our life to be tricky. Some even feel guilty or restless when they aren’t working. I think we under value play; hard work is rewarded with promotions, raises, bonuses, but no one tells you to keep up the good play. Having a play date or playful moment with our children allows us to unwind and share some intimate moments that will be treasured for a life time.
Besides, exercise and relaxation helps to combat stress. Having a good time with your spouse or lover can create a type of cement, which causes a bond between the two of you, which is something we must do if we want to have a sturdy relationship, especially when we need to get through those difficult moments. So, as you proceed to mark your calendar with strings of things to do, and overflowing appointments, don’t forget to add play to the list.
