When we think of making changes to our lives, we sometimes think we need to make these really big changes or else we feel we aren’t really accomplishing anything. We seem to neglect those small bite size changes we can make that will make whatever goals we are trying to reach much more reachable, as well as once accomplished it gives us an incentive to make even more changes.
Those bite-size changes have a greater chance of success because we can break them down into manageable tasks. This also allows us to be less likely to feel defeated by those humongous goals we try to set ourselves up for or our hectic lives. By meeting one small goal at a time it gives us the confidence to set more goals as we see our future getting brighter as we do so.
Changes are taking place for all of us whether we like it or not, so let’s pledge to do at least one small thing for ourselves as often as we can toward improving our lives.
