I believe we are all here to help each other and that is why I started this blog, to help others as well as myself.
I enjoy writing and I especially enjoy inspiring others through my writing. I hope you enjoy my journey to where it becomes our journey together. We all want to be happy, loved and to find our purpose in our life here on earth. I hope my words can inspire you to believe in yourself, to love yourself, to like yourself and enjoy yourself, because God made you the special person you are for a reason you just have to believe it. Besides, you have no choice but to learn to love yourself, since you are the one person you can’t get away from. 🙂
I was the Publisher/Editor of an informational community based print zine titled Chameleon from 2009-2011, under the pen name H.O.P.E (Helping other people excel). I created that zine because I wanted a way to give back to those within my community. I was also a Life Columnist for TDWRMagazine.com (The Divine Wellness Retreat Magazine).
If I can help one person feel good about themself or ease someones pain, just from reading my blog, then I have done what I set out to do and what I feel is why God placed me here.

Aww. Thank you. Not sure where to start other than things were spiraling out of control last Fall. It had been less than 2 years after my husband’s miraculous recovery from his massive stroke. We believe the long-term stress of caregiving had taken its toll.
At the time I was leading a small group online with Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies AND a member of the thriving COMPEL writing community created by Lysa Terkheurst and “Friends” at P31. Have you heard if it? You should absolutely join. It has been life changing in the few months I was involved. I am back involved now and a beautiful thing that has surfaced is my new direction and desire to write and publish a series of devotionals that include my photos. I cannot say enough about this private community.

It broke my heart to have to step away from the online world and responsibilities but I knew it had to be done. So, since January I cleared my plate completely and focused on The Lord, my healing, and my family and church. I also found my gift in nature photography. 😇 God has blessed me tremendously and I am making great progress. Thank you for your interest. This is a brief overview, if you could call it that.
Well, I am glad to hear of your husbands recovery and that you all are doing so much better. God is good and may you have even more blessings to be thankful for going forward.

Cheryl, thank you so much for creating a blog like this. People fail to realize that motivation is so important for daily growth and not everyone has someone in there life that lift there spirit up or can detect if a person is depressed or going through a rough time. So to have a blog that you can depend on to lift you up with something that is inspiration and words that can help a person make it through life one more day means a lot. One thing I know about words is it can make or break you. Thank you so much.
