I believe we are all here to help each other and that is why I started this blog, to help others as well as myself.

I enjoy writing and I especially enjoy inspiring others through my writing. I hope you enjoy my journey toΒ where it becomes our journey together. We all want to be happy, loved and to find our purpose in our life here on earth. I hope my words can inspire you to believe in yourself, to love yourself, to like yourself and enjoy yourself, because God made you the special person you are for a reason you just have to believe it. Besides, you have no choice but to learn to love yourself, since you are the one person you can’t get away from. πŸ™‚

IΒ was the Publisher/Editor of an informational community based print zine titled Chameleon from 2009-2011, under the pen name H.O.P.E (Helping other people excel). I created that zine because I wanted a way to give back to thoseΒ within my community. I was also a Life Columnist for TDWRMagazine.com (The Divine Wellness Retreat Magazine).

If I can help one person feel good about themself or ease someones pain,Β just from reading my blog, then I have done what I set out to do and what I feel is why God placed me here.

Welcome to my blog!

    • Coach Muller,

Thank you, for nominating me the “Sunshine Award”. I am honored! However, I am having a hard time figuring out how to get the award onto my blog. LOL! So, if you don’t see it noted there on my blog, please don’t think that I was not appreciative of your gesture. I just cant figure the doggone thing out. πŸ™‚

By the way, I love your blog. It is very inspiring and lively, just as you seem to be. πŸ™‚ Can you nominate yourself for the award, you seem to spread a whole lot of sunshine.

    • Wow! Thank you lensgirl53. I appreciate your kind words and blessings. πŸ™‚ God bless you as well!

  9. Tristine

I agree with Lensgirl53. I feel blessed just by reading this and I love your caption at the top of your blog, it is so true. People aren’t ushering love into people anymore, but their things, themselves, whatever. It is so nice to come here and watch your videos and read your messages knowing your passion is to pass it all on. What a wonderful purpose. Thank you again Cheryl!

    • Thank you, for such kind words. I felt that was the perfect caption for how I feel about the way we treat one another. I am glad you like it as well. This is my passion and I am so happy others are reaping from the seeds I am trying to sow. Thanks, again and God Bless!

      • Tristine

You are doing an amazing work. May I “reblog” one of your posts while I am in a Sabbatical Season?

      • Hi Tristine,

I enjoy your post as well. I would be honored for you to reblog one of my post. I would also love to learn more about your sabbatical.

      • Tristine

Aww. Thank you. Not sure where to start other than things were spiraling out of control last Fall. It had been less than 2 years after my husband’s miraculous recovery from his massive stroke. We believe the long-term stress of caregiving had taken its toll.

At the time I was leading a small group online with Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies AND a member of the thriving COMPEL writing community created by Lysa Terkheurst and “Friends” at P31. Have you heard if it? You should absolutely join. It has been life changing in the few months I was involved. I am back involved now and a beautiful thing that has surfaced is my new direction and desire to write and publish a series of devotionals that include my photos. I cannot say enough about this private community.

It broke my heart to have to step away from the online world and responsibilities but I knew it had to be done. So, since January I cleared my plate completely and focused on The Lord, my healing, and my family and church. I also found my gift in nature photography. πŸ˜‡ God has blessed me tremendously and I am making great progress. Thank you for your interest. This is a brief overview, if you could call it that.

      • Well, I am glad to hear of your husbands recovery and that you all are doing so much better. God is good and may you have even more blessings to be thankful for going forward.

  10. "light and salt"

      • "light and salt"

You’re very welcome, Cheryl. Enjoy your day today,

        Steve πŸ™‚

  11. Cheryl, thank you so much for creating a blog like this. People fail to realize that motivation is so important for daily growth and not everyone has someone in there life that lift there spirit up or can detect if a person is depressed or going through a rough time. So to have a blog that you can depend on to lift you up with something that is inspiration and words that can help a person make it through life one more day means a lot. One thing I know about words is it can make or break you. Thank you so much.

    • I am very touched by your words. So much so, that I have saved it within my email box for future need of encouragement. πŸ™‚ I am so happy I am touching people and helping myself as I write these words. You are so right, we all need a word of encouragement, lifting and just someone to tell us it will all be ok and that we are ok. I am honored that you feel I am filling that void with my blog. I want you to know that I appreciate you and your kind words and that I shall never, ever forget your email to me…EVER! I can not express how good that made me feel to know someone else gets it. I wish you much success, much love, much peace, much joy and lots of love.

      God Bless you, and yours!

  22. An inspiring read, Cheryl. That you were the editor of a local publication called H.O.P.E. says so much about what you want to achieve on your blog. Helping others to believe in themselves and overcome personal problems and difficulties is a great thing to do.

    • Thank you, Millie – That is very sweet of you to say. That was and is my goal. I am helping myself in the process as well. I appreciate your comments very much and thank you, for the award…I am honored! πŸ™‚ Have a blessed rest of the week.
